yeah it could us slicks but then throw slicks on the gt4 and it would be a near tie supra maybe by a car 1/4mile just isn’t the supras strong point it doesn’t have a good power curve just alot of power up top
off the line with that kind of power the supra has to take it very lightly and can’t really get on it till 3rd but with the awd and 600hp he’s gonna spin a lil in 1st and chirp in the rest a lil spin in 2nd, and youcan hear on the 2nd race that the supra didn’t get on it at first then when the view changes you can hear as he starts to get on it. i mean i seen supras with 900hp on street tires only hit low 12’s 1/4mile just isn’t there thing if it was a roll it would have raped

You cant tell its a empty road? It’s over grown with bushes and trees out onto the road way so its obvious no one is going to be traveling to grandma’s house down this street. You just want to complain.

Because the engineering firm I work for is a bunch of fuckin NAZI’s! And plus they caught a few people “testing” out some prototypes(after hours) of some parts that were developed purely for race, and they were stupid enough to put it on youtube. They fired everyone that was caught in the video, not to mention now they pay contractors to search the internet day and night to find any key indicators of anything that might have to do with racing or thier products, fuck them i’m quitting soon anyway

Oh my god that supra is an idiot, you don’t give 1000 hp full throttle on launch, other wise you get this… a shitty launch and an embarrasing defeat to a gt4. I love the gt4, but realistically it shouldn’t be able to embarass a supra like this.
Turbo lag doesnt mean much in a drag. Any decent driver can keep it in its powerband. Wheelspin is the big killer, or more to the point with this clip, the fact it doesnt really have 1000hp.
Hmm doesn’t look like a 1000 horse Supra to me. Looks like the Subaru did better against the Celica. One thing for sure. Chalk 3 wins up for the Celica.

a 600bhp celica gt-four would be quick, but not 1020bhp supra quick. both are turbo so both subjected to turbo lag….
if that supra was topping 1000 horses it would win or snake all over the place….
you are completely forgetting turbo lag….. there is no power low end in a car that has a turbo that produces over 1k break.
gt4 was always going to win. you can even hear that the supra aint red lineing.

haha the supra clearly doesn’t have over a grand of horse. If it did it wouldn’t have traction the entire race length and it would have smoked the GT if it actually had that much.

Supra 1020hp… meaning its tq is probably somwhere between 700 and 900 ft.lbs at a REALLY high RPM which doesn’t mean SHIT on for 0-60. Now, start them bitches up at 80-100mph and THEN you will see the beast in that supra. Not only that, but the guy could use a nice set of fat WIDE Mickey Ts in the back. Never getting that AWD out of the hole. Nuh uh.
supra’s can’t lunch very well and they wouldn’t rape a car that is awd at about 2600lbs with 600hp out of the hole maybe on the top end but supra’s are dyno queens they put out crazy numbers but can’t ran the 1/4mile for shit but there top end is mind blowing
with 1000+ HP i would expect to see lot of smoking tire . . . there is no evidence of wheel spinning on the supra that say it has that kind of power.

That much power to the rear wheels in a supra wouldnt be getting much grip. The lighter celica with power to all wheels would launch quicker.
The supra would only ‘rape’ the celica at higher speeds.
