i just got stuck in the snow on the middle of a mountain driving my parents forester 2.0x cause i was bored.. took me 20 minutes to dig it out of it without a shovel:)

what you should do is make a big skid plate for your entire bottom of you car, that way it wont heart anything.
everytime i take my forester off roading i get the feeling that i’m going to bottom out, not enough clearance for the off roading i wanna do, heck you could just barely hop over a curb in this thing without worrying about sanding down the skid plate.
turbo looks cool too, why wouldn’t you want the turbo. Its fun to say TURBO
Power is indeed a crucial part but there are other aspects to what you refer to as “offroading” that are at time more important than raw power. And a Forester without turbo has plenty of power.
