Keep your winged rally cars, I’ll take the interior that makes me smile every time I get in, the V6 growl, the resale value, the reliability, and timeless styling. Guess I’ll have to make due with “only” 250hp. Darn.

The golf/jetta is the equivalent to a civic in Europe. Its just a basic car. Fine European is BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, ect. German engineering is hit or miss. Mostly miss with VW. If you’ve ever worked on one you know exactly what I mean.

I wouldn’t buy one, Mine was a piece of shit. Try driving one for a couple years. You’ll be happy to take a loss just to get rid of it. Resale value? lol good luck with that one. Even while its still under warranty you’ll be lucky if its not broken down half of the time. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
