Misora for ever!
Although I don’t understand the words of songs sung by Misora or Teresa Teng I think their singing is superior to those of Western singers such as Barbra Streisand. The Asian singers have a much larger emotional element in their singing that brings out the sweetness, sadness, richness and beauty of the songs. As much as I enjoy Barbra’s singing, I like those of Misora, Teresa and Sayuri Ishikawa’s much more.
