Actually I just bought a 2009 wr450f from Escondido Cycle Center and the wr has the same power plant as the yzf but the wr has 2 different CDI mappings aka computer mappings it has both the wr and the yzf mappings, first thing thumper talk forums suggests you do is snip the grey wire in the CDI box which gives you the same mapping of the yzf then you take the air box baffle out also trim down the throttle stop all of which the yzf doesn’t have to restrict it and the wr weighs 272 lb the yzf 238
